Say Yes to Sustainable Packaging
yes, we have boldly taken a big leap in the packaging revolution and present to you our eco-friendly packaging.

We are carbon neutral
We did it!
Lecka has become the first carbon-neutral snack in Vietnam.
We reviewed all of our product ingredients to understand the carbon footprint we generate, from packaging to sales. and employee commute.
We are now aiming to reduce our emissions by implementing even more environmentally friendly processes, while also offsetting our carbon footprint by purchasing carbon credits from projects in Vietnam.

Change the status quo
We are part of a movement to improve the packaging industry.
Every year around the globe, around 8 million tons of plastic waste ends up in the ocean. Vietnam currently ranks 4th in the world in terms of plastic waste, with 730,000 tons of plastic waste discharged into the sea every year. 500 years to decompose is too long a time.
If this continues, the next generation will not be grateful.
Enough is enough and we all need change.

Biodegradable packaging
We decided to use bio-based, home-compostable packaging for our products.
The packaging consists of 3 layers: paper, cellulose and corn starch, it has similar characteristics to plastic in terms of moisture and oxygen resistance, BUT the difference is that it has the ability to decompose within 12 months into CO2, H2O and organic waste without leaving any harmful residue.
Our packaging materials have been certified 100% food safe and can be completely decomposed at home by TUV Austria, leading certification body in Europe.
All these efforts we make to change the status quo.

Proper waste management
We advocate a thoughtful approach to waste disposal.
In addition to sorting and recycling, we recommend that you take our product packaging to composting facilities that help turn waste back into organic soil.
Our product packaging should NEVER be disposed in the wild, but should be disposed alongisde organic waste (e.g. food waste).
It is the responsibility of every consumer to choose products that have a circular life cycle.
